Nice selections, most of which i have in me record collection! showing my age now as I used to collect the soul/library/funk/disco/psych/folk/jazz/rock/krautrock lp's from Charity shops/car booters and the like years ago.

Managed to turn up some real gems by doing this, not to mention seeing so many bloody Phil Collins lp's that i had a perma-imprint on the inside of my eyelids when I went to sleep.

Nice to see other diggers on here. It was a few years ago mind. I used to write stuff for the legendary 'VinyVulture' board, reveiws of library LP's and so forth.

I think it's changed it's name now to 'Verygoodplus' and is not the same board i joined, although still good, doesn't have the founding contributors/members anymore.

Peeps like the legendary Sermad and Towny.

We just did it for the love of the music before the wastemen record dealers got involved, "150 quid for the Big Beat vol 1, thank you very much..." pfff knobhounds.


considering that these LP's were to be found being chucked out of charity shops in the 80's, demand and inflatory prices was riddiculous to say the least.

This is why i like this board, i could go on about House and Techno just as easily as English Folk and 2 Step, and err Tony Hatch!.

Plus, it's always good to spread some knowledge and point folk in a different direction.
