ANYONE USING CUBASE SX3

If you do, iv got some problems & if you can help i'll be very gratefull.

Firstly when i go to open another project after working on a previous one cubase decides to crash which is getting on my tits.

Then when i start cubase again it decides it can't find my soundcard and uses my computers default one which is a pile of shit.

and sometimes it decides it can't find the waveshell.dll so i can't use my waves package which in turn looses all my compression settings etc that iv used on the project which is the most bloody annoying thing of the lot.

at the minute the only way i can find to solve this problem, and thankfully it works is to restart my computer. but that doesn't bring back my compression settings and as im sure you can understand gets right on my nerves!!!

for those of you who wanna know this is what im using:

Packard bell Quad core
Windows vista 32(avoid this at all costs if you can)
Cubase sx3
Edirol UA-25 external soundcard
and i think it's either waves 4 or the diamond bundle, can't remember at the minute.

Sorry about the long one but i thought id try and explain it all to you.

Anyway if anyone can help i'll be hugely gratefull.

Cheers

it might be vista as SX3 not desinged to work with it I have herd of lots of compatability problems, only way to solve that is to go back to XP.

unless you have a cracked copy of SX3 then it might well be the crack.

NOT that I use a cracked version because I DON'T. So I DON'T want to help you with one, so I WOULD NOT advise you to get your hands on the H2O version and I WOULD NEVER tell you that it works fine with Vista 32 bit. I most definitely WOULD NOT tell you to right click on the exe and run in XP SP2 compatrability mode. The thing I WOULD NOT NEVER EVER DO MOST OF ALL is say enjoy.

COz it's all wrong

The cool pirates are the ones on the radio.

Even then they're not.

If you know a student, get them to score you the latest Cubase Studio 5 for just under £150.00 here http://www.studica.com/Steinberg/index. ... nAodCVnytw

By em a pie and some soap and everyone's happy.
