ANC003 is the 2nd Eskmo release on his newly formed label “Ancestor”. Following up from ANC002, “Agnus Dei” / Harmony”, Angelides continues to push genre walls with 4 tracks that are clearly on their own path. The main adjective here is “vibrant”. Rich, colorful melodies are sprinkled throughout, balanced off with large percussion, and thick, floor creaking bass. Blending dubstep, glitch, and potentially post shoegazer-inspired electronica; “Hypercolor” is a unique example of the bass-heavy kaleidoscopic sound emerging from the West Coast USA.
