easy peeps

i downloaded some patches off here for NI massive, i knew what they were supposed to sound like

so i load a patch into massive and when i lay down a note in piano roll it plays like it should, but when i hit play it sounds totally wrong, as if its being modulated by something everytime a note plays

but as i say when u drag the notee up the keyboard it playes the correct sound....

baffled

had it in fl once or twice, baffled me for a good 20 mins. ur standard octave is at a much higher note than the ones u are playing in piano roll. either bring the octave down, or just draw the notes in higher. possibly the modulation is linked to the pitch in the matrix? not very familar with massive.

i dont know if this is ur problem, but its a start

which patch in particular? Also is it doing this for all your massive presets? Not heard of this issue before..
Also have you got the latest 1.1.3 version?

nah im still using the 1.1.1

it was a patch off here posted yesterday or the day before just called "ROBOT"

even if it was made on a newer version of massive, it still playes it correctly when you drag it around piano roll.

im propper stuck on this one. maybe i should just upgrade :D

I had the exact same problem, but then I went to the 5 lfo, pressed the sync button and it seemed to work fine. Weird, but it worked.

I know the solution to all of your problems, you need to set the bpm (beat per minute) on the Massive to the same speed on your song in the actual digital audio software. Once you match everything up you will be able to hear what you wanted on the piano roll. You can use the stepper or performer and it will actually work on the piano roll.
