Im happy to finish this tune...But is it even still dubstep?

I've had mixed repsonses from this, as I tried to pull a U-turn and give this song a "happy" feels (as I have been struggling to create a bit of diversity in my tunes).

Im just curious what peoples opinions are, as I feel there is no darkness (or very little) to this tune.

Thanks again.

Yeman sounding good I can imagine gettin down to this in a dance :D the synth that kicks in at 33 seconds sounds like it's from a next tune mixed in though lol maybe mix up the one you start with a bit melody wise to keep it up until the next bit comes in. Glad it ain't dark either, bit of a refreshing change (but not wholly dubstep either)

the beggining sounds like a proper proper old skool prodigy tune. i think its pretty good to be honest maybe if there was a bit more mid range in there, i dunno really i see your dillema

This has a little to do with dubstep
agreed
woah there, genre police! sounds like pretty straight-up dubstep to me. with a sort of oldskool rave feel to it which i quite like. clearly a work in progress, needs some more elements to keep it interesting, but personally i'd stick with the idea, see it through, and ignore anyone who says "not dubstep!"

yeah it does sound like an old school prodigy tune ha :)
it's definately got a dubstep feel to it, in terms of the drums, tempo and the sub bass.
btw that sub bass is a nice touch in there ;)
good work!
