my Bose over-ears really pick out the subs i don't hear on other sets of cans, especially with Shackleton, 2562 etc. i'm on my second pair though, first ones got sat on by a two-year old and fell apart (got free replacements, didn't mention the toddler incident)

I got a nice pair of brown ones for free through my work (big up my dad), I like them a lot. Don't know much about headphone specs but they're nice for listening.

Yeah I had them, even ramadanman, rusko, etc used them. They have 2 years of guarantee wich is good because mine died after a year :(
So now I have the Sennheiser HD212Pro, basicly looks the same but is far better.

Actually, any headphones with some decent quality and bass response will be fine. But don't buy skullcandy's because it's for scene girls and strange Italian DJ's
Oh and the Sony MDR500 or MDR700 is supposed to be good too.

i wear sony mdr-v6's in public. which prolly makes me look stupid. but they have the best bass translation of any headphones i've ever had. and i've had a shitton.

they're studio headphones, so they're gonna be bulky and cost more than most pairs but i've had mine for more than 4 years and honestly, best headphones ever.

I bought the Shure SE210's in black - http://idek.net/7Qn

They were worth every penny. Been listening to loads of random stuff and they've done well on Stravinsky, Beach Boys, NIN, Frou Frou as well as loads of dubstep and dnb.

Ultrasone's and never look back. Use them on your Ipod and for mixing down your productions, mixes, etc... just fucking do it! Will probably cost you as much or more than your Ipod touch 8 gig, but it's worth every penny.

Otherwise, Sennheiser or gtfo!

Sennheiser user here. Their headphones are pretty reliable. I'd recommend the HD212Pro's... they have great bass.

I use Denon AH-D2000's. Solid cans. They are bulky but consider them some of the best cans I've heard. Definitely can improve sound on good headphones using a portable headphone amp.

If looking for IEM's Monster Turbines are suppose to be big on bass. Looking to pick those up soon for casual iPod usage.

i'm no expert, but i love my Sennheiser 595s. i've dropped them hard and accidentally kicked them quite a few times and they still work! i got the pro 25s for DJing, but i'm not sure about those yet. i need to get used to them, maybe?
