Do a search for "reese" bass there was an amazing thread like a month ago, may also be in the PRoducers Bible now.

That Dogs on Acid tutorial is the beezneez, definitely helped me out.
Admittedly, I am still having less than stellar results with splitting frequencies, effecting and re-sampling (repeatedly). However, my Ableton Operator Reeses are sounding tight!

Hey Slug, not to offend you or whatever, but i only see you post threads about things that are easily to find on google etc. Also they have been discussed 200 times on this forum. Please do a search first, save you time

Yea to be honest it would be MUCH quicker searching google, there is literally hundreds and hundreds of pages/threads/posts on reeces, I know becuase I found them lol.
The frequency splitting thread on DOA is probably the one that best progressed my reeces, and every other bass sound for that matter. Once you get the hang on freq splitting and processing each band separately (don't forget that adding filters and tweaking them also adds movement to the sound) you can get some really nice sounding stuff.

The link is in the production bible, but it's not as easy to find as it should be for as helpful as it is:
