minimal dubstep

i'm kind of new to the dubstep genre. i'm primarily into hip-hop but have overtime become more into the musical part of it and obviously because of that was drawn to artists like j-dilla and now flying lotus and the like. i kind of like all sorts of electronic music and dubstep seems to be pretty popular nowadays and it's influence is kind of in a lot of hip-hop beats.
so obviously i've checked out the "wonky" dubstep artists and hyperdub and the like but i haven't come across much minimal dubstep. does it even exist?
all i've found is 2562 but that's really it.
are there any other artists like that or is there any other artists similar or anybody doing minimal dubstep themselves?

I'd nominate mid period Loefah and
this, "Basic G" from Artwork in 2003, pretty much early dubstep crossed with Jeff Mills' Purpose Maker sound...
