anyone ever hear 'think your greezy' from el-b?

the man is a genius. if you haven't, search for his myspace it's probably still up on there...

drums are wicked, simple hard stompin groove with the tamb on the snare(gets me every time)

bass is ridiculous, and nothin more than it needs to be...

the tune was probably made in 5 audio tracks.

can anyone recommend some more stuff like this? i'm sure some of you UK people know of some high quality things that i could never find from here. share the love!

thanks in advance :)

If you're looking for some straight gangster shit try N.W.A.
As far as Dubstep, I don't find any of it to be very "gangster".
I'm just bustin' balls :D

i get ya ^^^

it's not like i haven't looked, but i know there has to be some shit out there that's got a similar sound... that tune just moves you.

i'm telling you- drop a tune like that at the dance and it's wet floors and hands in the air.

probably v obvious but loefah has that stripped down hard vibe on a lot of his tracks

for example - "its yours" think it was on ringo

edit: o yeah and "throw some d's" by parson has a vibe like this too

i love ringo btw(hovercraft is one of my all timers)- and parson has been one to watch for a while.

you definitely got what i meant here: "stripped down beats"
