From the 1st of May to the 27 June Dave Cowan will be exhibiting his awesome dubstep photography at the North Light Gallery in Huddersfield. Dave is the daddy of the POWAH dubstep clubnight in Huddersfield, which always brings down big names along with the up-and-coming DJs and is always packed and vibrant with skunking energy (errm of the raving kind I mean!). And he has captured this energy in his photographs really well!!

The photo exhibition dubbed "DAVE COWAN Meet Dubsteppers Uptown" is open every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm and runs from 1st May to 27th June at the North Light Gallery (Armitage Road, Huddersfield, HD4 7NR). Apart from crisps & red stripe, there will also be some free dubstep with loads of DJs & MCs performing live every Friday & Saturday. So a dubstep lunch it will be!

  First Saturday 2nd May: lunchtime dubstep session from midday to 2pm with CONNECTIONIST and the Beginner's Guide to DUBSTEP
  
  Preview night, Thursday 7th May, 6-9pm: EXODUS + ARIE + DUBKUTTA... + special guests..... powered by AXIS SOUND SYSTEM

The first lunchtime dubstep session is on as we speak and tomorrow, Saturday 2nd May, I'm playing the next one from 1pm to 3pm with THE HISTORY OF DUBSTEP

come down and enjoy some bass, some art and maybe beer and crisps too

the next dubstep lunchtime session is today from midday till 4pm with myself on from 1pm-3pm and other guests before and after. Expect a History of Dubstep set, along with awesome dubstep skanking photography, beer and a bite

I had so much fun yesterday at the lunchtime dubstep sessions
My History of Dubstep set went down well with the seasoned dubsteppers but also it seems with the dubstep newbies (including babies and grannies) who happened to be at the Gallery at the time They all had a huge grin on their faces so I guess they must have liked this new sound
