Despite this, who do you, valuable follower of the dubstep clan, believe to be the most skilled, talented and accomplished producer ever?

i have to say just of the top of my head, skream. on the other hand theres so many more sick producers but there you go

While I do agree considering the diversity and quality of his early output, he is doing the scene no favours by djing absolute shite midrange cack these days......

Actually, my serious vote goes to The Widdler. While he is relatively new to the scene, the quality displayed in the range of his productions is excellent!

I see what you mean. I was on his myspace the other day...and the amount of touring this guy does, as well as Benga and Rusko....it's like jesus christ, mans are on the top of their game right now.

You feel the same for Benga? These 20 days off a year thing they seem to have going is crazy.

I am not in touch with the dubstep scene at ALL anymore, I only found out who Bar 9 was the other week......But I know the oldschool and Widdlers been churning out tracks since 07 mate - he basically put America on the map in my book - cause all the people before him everyone thought was British or had a British sound..Hes a souljah in my book! And deffo a legend when it comes to the American side of things.

I havent been into this for too long, but Digital Mystikz are quickly reaching my list of ALL TIME favourite producers.

I can sense where Dubstep is headed...I just feel ashamed at myself for not taking notice when it fresh. But something else will come...something always does.

I approach this bass music from hip-hop, which is getting stale (fuck...its BEEN stale for like almost 10 years..started before that). I laugh looking back at hearing this shit for the first time...because it had a MAJOR impact, and I was listening on shitty earphones.

I had speakers at home where the sub was broken for 8 months. Didn't care one bit. Once I got into dubstep, after like 2 days I was pulling some next level repairs on the sub lol.

And Bar 9 is FUCKED UP....I wouldnt call that mid range cack...I find their shit pretty brilliant.

Big up Widdler tho, has put a lot back into the community aswell with reason patches and tutorials and what not.

Saviour brings some deepness fo sure. Not Alone remix is big, his mixes are probably some of the first I got from this site.
