I quit because I busted my ass too much, and never made any progress.

Used to blade instead, then broke my arm trying to drop a half pipe.
Tbh I had more fun trying to see how fast i could go, so i suppose I was into the geeky side of blading- speed skating woo

I quit because I didnt seem to be getting anywhere. Plus I ended up going to the park just so I could link a draw.

Tried it for a bit, and just didn't like the idea that to progress, I was gonna get fucked up haha
Still enjoy watching it though, fully flared was probably the last skate film I watched though, s'like a whole new level!

Used to skate a bit as a teenager and took it back up when I moved to London, more as a means of getting around than anything else.... amazing how quickly you can navigate a city on a skateboard!
Pretty shit since I restarted though... need a day in a park to get back into it properly, tbh..

A bit when I was younger. Couldn't be arsed with the effort, no-one else in my area skated after my mate moved away.

Used to skate, (play roller/ice hockey too) but busted my knee in a car accident, so not skated in any competitive form since 1999.
started skating again about 6 months ago and fell awkwardly a couple of times but have slowly been getting back into it.
