He's completely ridiculous. Since hearing those 2 new whitelabels today, one of my top 5 producers of the year - freshest stuff i've heard for ages, some of it. It's pretty much broken beat meets dancy grime to me, some of it anyway.

loads of new bits coming from Dark Knight, but I wish he would just leave the tunes sometimes - they roll out just right and then in comes some new MIDI-brass lick or something which just over-eggs the pudding. Literally every tune I've heard has the same problem so far.

Other than that, there's some serious promise - the closest I've heard to a revival of the W London sound of broken a la Bugz.

The Dancing Crows release is ultimate, I've yet to actually buy his stuff though, so I don't know about his full song structure i guess..

Can't believe I slept on Dancing Crows. Genuinely unbelievable record.

Am I gonna have to fork out a hundred quid on discogs now? Probably

Hope there be a mp3 release of that one like

Dark Knight is seriously making some next level tunes... bringing some darkness into the uk funky style. Easily one of my favorite producers right now. It's crazy how all of a sudden his stuff just started popping up, and it's amazing how all of them are such big productions. Can't wait to hear what's next...
