any1 watch that UFC UK vs USA on virgin1 every sunday at 11p? I quite like it and it is a change from boxing, punches kicks elbows mixes of all diff styles mui tai/judo/karate/boxin. Call me a pussy but i think UFC is a little too violent, what do you all think? For instance in the fight lastnight the uk guy totally fucked up the us guy, the uk guy knee'd him in the face bout 4 times n each time you heard his face crunch n i'm surprised he took as much as he did. Like it only takes 1 of them knees to the face or a punch to die. I know men are men and all that but like some of the men in the ufc comp blatently just do it not for the love of sport or anything but simply to be able to beat the fuck outa some1 and not get banged up for it. Thoughts? Still kinda like it tho, the fact it's UKvsUS makes it exciting. But i am no a fighting person, live and let live i say.Unless you steal me herb then i'm gonna wong chop ya ass

if they both want to brawl and know the consequences then let them. just as dangerous as something like snowboaring i'd say

So....... what about tonights fight earlier this evening??. Large up frank, he was alot tonight even tho he was still fucked up from his last fight. I'm english but to be honest i wanted frank to win coz he was blatently the under dog n he put heart into that fight. Well surprised the uk guy gave in after 2nd round. so it's 4 all now, all to play 4 n the comp is heating up

The first bit's dead on - if people want to fuck themselves and each other up, as long as they're all happy participants then they can do what they like.
The second one is mentalism though... even snowboarders dropping cliffs don't do it *knowing* that they're going to be black and blue the next day. I've snowboarded for hundreds of hours in my life on all kinds of terrain and I've never even broken a bone (worst was a badly bruised tailbone from flailing about on a dry slope)... if I competed in UFC I'd expect to have at least a broken nose within the first couple of minutes!

Rex Kwon Do: "forget about it"
Please see the new light heavyweight champ Lyoto Machida, who is a black belt in kung fu

Like someone said up there ^^ they know what they are in for b4 they sign up.
It does get a bit raw when they are raining down punches and elbows when the poor bloke underneath is semi conscious. But the ref needs to stop it lol. Until then.. POUND AWAY BOY!

UFC isn't even as brutal as Dream, you can't kick a downed opponent in the face in the UFC lol.
I love MMA though.

My mate does a Muay Thai. I was contemplating goign along with him, but I'm still not sure weather I want to be kicked in the face week in week out lol.

Read his wiki, Karate and Jujitsu. Kung Fu traditionally has no belt system in China.

My bad, got my martial arts mixed. i'm pretty sure he knows Sumo wrestling as well.
Still been more than just kickboxing and jujitsu, thats just what the new guys learn when they need to get into it, and it works pretty well.
Theres always been traditional boxing, wrestling, and judo. Fedor knows Sambo. Chuck L knows karate but he never used it the way Lyoto does. Georges st pierre is also pretty nice at karate

when the gladiatorial games started they didnt kill each other it wasnt the point. it escalated from free for all fist fighting like ufc.
saying that "they consented" is such bullshit. theres people im sure who consent to having a deathmatch shootout with guns as long as it got them fame. say....prisoners.
