who uses a microkorg?

i just got one, getting some good sounds out of it, nice synth

had it for a few years tghen bought the ms2000b instead.
its ALL about the patching system i suggest you really take the time to learn that.

wow same thing for me, i have a ms2000b but i dont use it really for anything but as a midi keyboard

erm, forgive me for sounding stupid, but that doesnt really seem to have a lot of buttons on it?
would expect to see a lot more, is it very versatile and programmable?

this year will be an alright one for me financially (hopefully)...after upgrading my computer a bit...i'm throwing money towards a micron.
I'm a simple person...it may have less buttons but as far as this stage in my production....that shit will be a God-send.

it is quite versatile n it has this neat little thin where you can split teh keyboard to play different sounds. it is easily as versatile/programmable as teh microkorg and you can get equally good sounds using it. the reason i bought the microkorg however was because of the knobs and buttons, you can just twiddle away but from what i cld gather the micron had a complex editing process.

yea if you wanna program it just using the synth then essentially you're just using the one knob, but there's editors available for you computer that communicated via midi to program it which are a piece of piss, plus it has a nice mod matrix and filters/fx on it

It was a contender but i decided to go with the korg, if your gonna buy one test them cos theyre both pretty and not far off each other in price

i really didnt like the microkorg
but then again dorian concept uses one, and it sounds amazing

Ye can't say I had an in depth good go with the korg but didn't think it was the best. It also seemed to work as a controller only when it wanted to, strange

the keys on the Micro Korg are designed for the fingers of children and are fairly stiff

Would never live without my microkorg!!! But actually I'm looking for it to be serviced, since at a gig a BITCH broke a key. That's the only thing I hate about the microkorg, its *always* mistaken for a toy, especially by the girls, why why why? Sometimes the toy appearance is good tho, when I got it back in 2007 I took it with me on a ryanair flight and they wanted me to pay the musical instruments insurance. I told them it was a toy and I didnt pay anything lol

I have one... But I just use it as a midi controller
Sounds are nice, but since I'm 100% digital I don't like to integrate it in my setup really... Really like the vocoder though, but since I switched from oldskool electro to dubstep I can't seem to find (that much) use for it though... So I didn't hook it up for audio the last time round...
Don't really miss it though...
