Original still sounds fresh today. DnB really did used to be something special back then.

granted its a gem in the jungle world, dunno if a dubstep remix would do it any favours.

Early Bukem is great and that's one of his best. I've no objections to a remix as long as it's done with a bit of respect.

a nice minimal techno-dubstep hybrid might be good...

wait till bukem finds out.

who remembers when he didn't put out dev paradox's remix of horizons? dev's signed to GLR as well, and even then, bukem didn't approve it. he rarely allows remixes, and has even called shops to get white labels shut down.

Yeah I remember that remix amazing bit of drum funk, Horizons is one of my favorite tunes ever, dunno if it just takes me back but I still love it today, that break.... :5:

I saw this thread and though someone had done one.

I think it could be cool, as has been said it would need to be done with respect, and without LFO -> Filter Cutoff

to be fair the entire sample is nicked from the old techno tune someone linked above ^^.

Bukem couldn't do shit if someone wanted to do a tune with the same sample...

Definitely. There's no way Bukem would sign off that kind of remix.

I reckon Pinch or Martyn could make a good job of it though.

pretty much this

I used to love atlantis but when i found out he jacked pretty much the entire tune from reel by real i went off it quite a bit. only really listen to the original now, and not BECAUSE it's the original but i think it's actually better anyway. big up martin bonds
