Gotta say big up to General Trix by the way, wicked MC.

Not to mention David & the Dub City crew for having me : )

Oh, and don't watch the mixing - I drank a lot that weekend

Loads of RSD in there by the way. A few people were going on about
Mr Smith, so I thought I'd give em what they wanted :D There wasn't
actually any RSD in the first half of my set..... but that's not the point!

'Murderer' was by Barrington Levy originally. Then he
did a version with Beenie Man - which is what's been
remixed here. The remix was released on white label
12".. under the name 'Unknown Artist - Murderation'.

Oh, and glad you're feeling the recording. Nice one : )

endgame - r. demon rmx for opener is niiiiiiice!
but I don't really approve of that mc. I guess he is good at what he does but it just didn't feel right.

Fair enough sir, each to their own and all that..... mic could
have done with being a bit quieter, but I really rate Mr Trix.
Thanks for listening anyway - always much appreciated! ;)

I'm not saying he was bad, don't get me wrong. I just don't think mcing goes very well with this kind of music (well not this kind of mcing anyway)

Yeah, you do have a point. To be honest I was kinda hoping there wouldn't be any mcs for my set beforehand, but I enjoyed it a lot once he started. Probably distracted me from my mixing a bit lol, and it influenced my selections. But definitely added to the fun! People seemed really enthused, and I felt that was a lot down to the vocal presence. Wasn't sure about putting the recording out there initially, cos it's only half a set/ the mixing's a bit shite/ mic's a bit loud.... but figured why not, it has its charms! Plus I think enough of the atmosphere of the night comes across to make it a worthwhile listen.
