To me it sounds like a paint by numbers 80s tune for the 2009, can't get away with it. Probably because I had shit like blacklace when I was growing up.

yeah the whole album is clearly 80's influenced, you gotta respect her though she played all the instruments herself, would of been even more impressive if she produced it herself though

Lol its a good tune i have to admit.
I always think that pop music is completely different to other types of music, like you dont appreciate it for being moving or challenging, but you can listen to the radio and just hear the pure craft of good pop. Like perfectly structured, catchy melodies, perfectly mixed.
case in point, new tune from lily allen - some sort of country fusion
I mean i cant really get into n dubz or like any of that shit, but there is definetely something to be said for good pop music.

I still don't get comments like this. The Supremes didn't play any instruments and they were fucking amazing. Good pop music is about the sound that comes out of the speakers, not how 'worthy' the performers are.
Ladyhawkes alright. My girlfriend wants to see her at Glastonbury, so I expect I'll be there...

I don't get replies like this.
I wasn't saying the album is good because of this, I was just merely adding onto what I had said.

Snap.
That's my general feeling towards alot of this 80s stuff. They're just like 80s parody songs without the parody.
