Yes, the guy is a preening, petulant, arrogant prick, and I hate him so very much, but I think the premiership will miss him. Scored some spectacular goals (a couple against Villa I might add ).

But still I fail to see how any human being can be worth £80m. Just shocking really, especially in these current times. I find it a bit nauseating.

Ribery doesnt want to play in the EPL, he doesnt fancy the British climate. Maybe the 80 mill will got to paying off the Rags debt or buy Torres from the Bin Dippers.

it does mean rooney will be able to play in that central striking role more like he does for england and will receive better service from more team minded players. ronaldo was incredible for us when at his best but this was ineveitable and i think will be benificial for the squad.. be gud to hang onto tevez tho
