Nominate your worst tune ever (created by a well known act)...
My nomination goes to Ja Rule for
Always on Time Feat Ashanti.
It just sounds flat through out, the melody stinks and the lyrics are wack.....
Learn from the worst haha, and don't repeat!

Re the mid-range cack/brutal electro debacle, I think this new(?) one from chase and status wins hands down. I guess there are worse actual songs, but they've now done this exact thing a fair few times. It's completely lacking any soul/imagination, and kind of reminds me of the "ultimate dubstep tutorial" video posted here the other day.

If you get bored of them gangraping rock music for MTV, skip to 2:46... there are no words to describe how awful it becomes.

Jeannine Deckers, aka "The Singing Nun," aka "Soeur Sourire."
This is a disco remake of a song she'd had a hit with in 1963 (apparently the '63 version beat Elvis in the Billboard charts for a time.)
The mix is awful, stale, flat. The synth patches chosen for this 'disco' tune are just the worst rubberband farts you can imagine...
The worst part tho is that as bad as it is, it will remain embedded in your brain for WEEKS if you're not careful. It's the most contagious shitty tune I can think of off hand.

I forgive the Belgians for creating her because they make such delicious beer, but...

wow From the intro I thought generic but it doesn't sound too bad, and then the autotune singing came in, what the hell, its so out of place.
This is pretty much the reason I left metal for dubstep, the same repetitive breakdown/clean sing/repeat crap day in day out

music has gotten exponentially worse in the last two decades so anything recent will do. listen to pop music from the fifties (mr sandman etc) they are cheezy and relatively shitty, but still more pleasurable to listen to than lil wayne. but ill have to go with
FLO RIDA- RIGHT ROUND
a new low for sampling.
