Hey Bob, any idea if they are going to bring in a soundsystem? I'm not sure the buzzsaw-midrange-freaky speakers Beauty Bar normally rocks can handle the tunes.

Weakest sound I've ever heard at a legit dubstep show. Technical difficulties or not, the subs couldn't even come close to handling the low end that dubstep needs. Someone dropped Together and the subs weren't even registering and that was before they blew a PA. I could've just stayed in Houston and climbed inside of a empty refridgerator box and had someone kick the shit out of it and achieved the same results. Shame to because Kode 9 was playing a bad ass set. From what I could make of it at least.

Its unfortunate because there was plenty of sound in there but obviously not adequate ampage or know-how to make it sound good.
big up scion for bringing kode 9 and martyn but next time, do it at a place with a proper soundman and less hipsters.
sound aside, kode 9 smacked it!!!
oh and thanks to everyone for showing up early. I had fun.

I had a shit ton of fun! Kode9 and Spaceape are very cool peeps....and would love to hear them and Martyn(less house though, more Martyn) again on a decent system.....and Grommit was droppin' the hot shit as well, as always! Kode9 killed it with 'Alicia'!

had a great time at the show... sound issues aside, it was a sick night. And Kode, Spaceape and Martyn are all very cool guys...
