#1 thing is the pitch bend indicator LED so you dont have to pitch bend by ear
this thing is fucking amazing
there IS effects by the way, but they are digital and done by the computer and not on the controller

its just a midi controller vs. audio interface. you could probably hook an NS7 up to Ubuntu Linux and use Mixxx if you wanted to, just as well
itch is good anyway, i like it

Couple of points here:
First 1210's with serato is expensive, given the NS7 is pricey but what about the VCI-300, seems more portable and able to do all the things decks would be able to do, and then some. i am trying to figure out what my entry setup is going to be and i am leaning toward the VCi-300 cause serato w/ 2 decks would be just as much if not more, 300 has mad functions, and is portable. Also i can use a conversion program to use my Vci-300 with other DAW, which is something i cant do with decks. Whats everyone else think?
Also: The NS7 and the VCi-300 both use high resolution midi signals so in order to use either of the controllers with anything but itch you need to download a conversion program. But i think the program is free anyway.
