My friend noted today that I'm really a heavy metal guy disguised as a dubstep producer... After consideration, he has a valid point!
My dubstep style = multiple distorted basslines everytime...
What's yours?

i do, according to my mates.
growing up listening to techno and electro has had a definite influence to my music. lately, my love of the harder end of electronic music is starting to come through also. distorted kicks, jungle snares and bit crushing seem to be popping up in more and more tracks lately.
but this could all change next week or next month

i dont think i have a style ive noticed.
non of the music previous to my discovery of dubstep influences me, so if i do have a style... its a dubsteppy one.

Personally I say my style is just kinda expression how I feel at that point in time...
My close mate and someone I produce with once said to me.."your tunes what're not wobble nonsense are usually really dark and a bit eerie as they progress they seem to get more optimistic and happy.. like a light at the end of the tunnel sort of effect..
Was the sickest review I ever got..
But yeah my signiture style is "moody emo bastard - who is happy, really "

I think everyone, even shitty producers have a signature style. It may take listening to quite a few tracks to hear it but it's there. Even when producers try to emulate a bigger producer there are usually clues in the tunes as to who did them. What is mine? I wouldn't want to put a finger on it but there is something there that links each tune.

i can't really detect one, i guess i'm still learning and working towards one. i imagine by the time i've learnt to produce properly i'll have narrowed my sound down to something recognisable as me.
i suppose there are probably certain things that i always do in my tunes, but because its just how i write naturally music i cant really put my finger on them.

i haven't finished a tune proper yet....so i think there's a bit leeway in figuring out my style...but for the people who have heard my tunes, a lot of them say there's this dark element in them. I keep trying to listen for it...and then try to do something that I can't identify as dark....but then I hear that anyway. Sooo....*shrugs* I give up. I don't really mean it to be...just kinda...keeps happening I guess

People say my music makes them sleepy. My tunes come from sadness and insomnia, so I'm not surprised.
Check my sig & see if its true...
