So what could I be learning?

Basically earlier this week the jack that goes from my amp in to my laptop has snapped inside my laptop and apon getting it out it totally fucked up my soundcard..
Anyway the point is I've orderd a better soundcard, but it wont be here till Friday and I miss producing so much already!
So the question is what could I be learning production wise whilst I wait for my soundcard to arrive?

Read up on your DAW. Get the manuals out, or download the pdfs.
I do this at work and it always speeds up my production once I get to my system again.

Yeah man I usually do read up on Reason alot, so I guess a little more cant hurt!

Have any instruments? Like keyboard/guitar, something like that? Why not mess around with those until your soundcard gets there?

learn scales and chords and go on soundonsound site and RTFM and beatbox and poetry and painting and go out the house and you should be all good and dont read the shit that i write and ect

Get a copy of Golden Ears and don't do another mixdown until you can get 10/10 on the basic tests.

Anything you are uncertain of musically or production-wise.
Read some interviews with your fav artists to find out what they do.
Read up about computers, acoustic theory and how synthesis and effects actually function.
Read up on electronics.
That should keep ya busy for a few days. Remember that your local library/bookstore will have loads of stuff to read, so pop down there one afternoon and see what you can lern!

Haha was wondering when you'd jump in this thread, well I've found an interesting book to read at the moment called 'Jazz Piano For The Young Pianist'.
I think this should keep me busy for awhile, but I'll take all the other stuff people have given forth in to consideration, so thanks for the feedback
