Any Nashville, TN heads around here?
Looking for some resources on dubstep in the area for the month of July.

man i live in clarksville tennessee and im in nashville all the time and theres absolutely no dub scene down here at all. id love to advance the genre but theres noone who wants to get it going in our area.

im down in new orleans.. nothin here really either, south always gets it last, unless its hate. haha

ATL is prolly gonna be yer closest and best bet to Nashville..

i know NY has a couple of things going on. Starscape in Baltimore every Summer is catching on to dubstep. i hope they have a dubstep only tent soon. i've never been to Nashville, but i assume it's all pop/country like it is here. i'm planning on trying to get a slot to play at one of the gay bars, but no matter how good i get, i seriously wouldn't recommend making the trip. drag queens are scarier than clowns...

Nashville has an edm scene, not sure about dubstep though.

we recently had rusko play in Nashville.

if you check out the edm scene there are plenty of dubstep dj's. the Tennessee Edm crew has at least one dubstep dj each month. we are actually looking for more dubstep talent, so if your a dubstep dj in Tennessee or surrounding areas pm me and we might get some shit moving

Nashville needs a nice dubstep scene!

I have never heard of any big venues happening in nashville or any other cities other than Atlanta. I am and ATLien and i must say the dubstep scene here is pretty big. Its recently in the past year gotten a lot bigger. Theres more venues throwing more regular events. The best way to find out events is through 404audio.com . Also if your into better after hours spots or rave type venues (more underground) type shit i would suggest checking out www.myspace.com/beyondatlanta and you have to send your number through a message after that you will be contacted once a week on the location and password of various rave venues that go from 1 am to 8 am every sat and friday. GOO SHIT. also there are a few raves every once in a while dubstep of course at the spring and 4th center in atlanta you would have to google the phone number and call and ask them when a rave is going on .there pretty big events in atlanta as well. hope that helps. starscape does have a dubstep stage (the beach stage). and lol at nashville not having an edm scene. it's mostly house but they get a few dubstep acts here and there.
