All I can say now is that I have a shaved armpit, leg and right forearm. To mention the mentionables.
Big night anyway, despite problems with security/club owners- N-Type had some big mixes, Benga had some big tunes
Apologies to all I was crunked

sick night...
props the guy dancing on his own from about half an hour in!
i came well early, was my first dubstep rave, felt I should get in their early incase it got rammed and i was the only one there..
what was the problem with the narc owner? he obviously doesnt like bass
N Type was killing it, I had to leave around 1 for fear of not being able to get a bus (then realised I had to walk anyway..) but i had a sick skank

Fuckin excellent night.Havnt felt that much energy in a club since 1997.
Props to all the DJ's they all killed it.
Proper good mix of people as well and big thanks to the two Japanese(?) ladies for providing me with some quality eye candy
Shame about the the management/security.I go there all the time and its normally open till around 4:00 am.Not sure why they had such a problem.Fuck all people live round there.
System was crisp.
Thanks to all involved and whens the next one ?
Leeds on the 2nd then

had an an ace time - it was seriously going off at the end! Nice to meet Benga and N-Type - they ended up going to some party in Kimberley - rather them than me - that's all I'm saying! Big up to all the attendees and big up to the organisers!
Oh and the sound was FAT at the end - just wish all the amps had been on properly during my set - I kept saying to kamal that there wasn't enough bass on the tracks - we then found out that one of the amps wasn't even switched on - talk about stitched up! I reckon it was Kamal so I didn't burn him at his own night
I couldn't work it out as it sounded great through my headphones!
Looking forward to vex'd on the 30th!!

Thanks to all that came down and brought the energy...
yes Benga and N Type totally killed it -
and so did the DSF P.A. system - but the venue's neighbours could not deal with it - so that's the last Maze gig - new venue next time !
cheers

massive thanks to all in attendance - best one yet I reckon. Gutted that the night was shut down early - I think the problem all stemmed from the rig. Its been louder at previous events, but the purity of the subs from DSF system meant that it travels much further. Hence all the complaints from the punters next door/residents and subsequently the rather heavy-handed response from managment and security. I honestly thought it was going to get ugly for a while there at the end.
Most of all - big up Kamal! "The Kofi Annan of dubstep" as someone put it. You had a lot on your plate. Also big up N-Type, big up Benga - my GF absolutely loved you both, and that's saying something. Be great to have you back up here again.
Gutted I missed you D-Nile - all about this Thursday again!
Baron von Carlton - I creased up when I heard you in the bogs saying "its just like 96" - now I know who you are.
and finally - how amazing were the visuals? :o big ups to VJSeer and Mijim @ Vent Media.
