Cult Of The Smoke Signal (Speed Camera Shy)
Just to let you Dubb headz know that I've put the newest Speed Camera Shy tune up on our Myspace:

The tune's called
"Cult Of The Smoke Signal", and was inspired by a dusty old recording of a blues singer reciting a prayer to save his soul. If you haven't come across this before,
Speed Camera Shy is a collaboration between Dubstep producer
Hit By A Rock (me) and Spoken Word performer
Educated Fool, aka Ray Antrobus.
I'd really appreciate comments, critics, 320 requests from DJs, whatever. We like well-formed grammer, alliteration and anything that rhymes with "orange". Thanks.

Well i can't give you a word that ryhmes with orange except maybe tunnage but thats a stretch....I did learn that there aren't many words that ryhme with it.Anyway i am so glad to hear some new speed camera shy and as always its been well worth the wait.Is there any news on a full length album yet?

yes I'm with Jason, an album would be sick. This tune is great, you guys are definitely creating a unique sound. Great use of samples and crisp mixdown. don't sleep on the speed camera shy people

No seriously, thanks for the comments.
We haven't got any releases planned yet. While I'm busy mixing, me & Ray are also working on a live set, plus recording new tracks. We're not really sure of what direction to take this project yet. It's still developing...
But we've been
really encouraged by the positive feedback we've had for all the Speed Camera Shy material, especially as it doesn't sit so easily within the "Dubstep" genre, skirmishing at the borders, somewhat.
Anyway. Much appreciated!

brilliant! creative use of that evangelical sample.
thoughtful concept (though i' didn't really listen to what was said, DUH!).
hope my sentence structure, grammar & the like were all to your satisfaction. rhyming w/orange was tough to pre-arrange (best i could do).
i'd be
to get a 320.
