Headphones and Not Monitors!

Easy All,

As it stands i am Using headphones and not Monitors because Were i am making beats if i was to play them out loud i would start to pi*s a few people off!

Any idea the best Headphones to buy for making Dubstep and Mix downs as i have my music Masterd else were any way.

Look fwd to some advice and links :wink:

yo b4 ppl kick off 4 me being unhelpful. what was decided as being the right thing to do when sum1 starts like the fucking millionth thread about which headphones/monitors/keyboard/chest-wig etc. to buy without searching? this shit is boring

Go for the k701 if you can afford em. Makin tunes is all goo in phones but try to mixdown etc with monitors :wink:

no other options for the top stuff really. i went akg personally, they have a really full stereo image and the stuff i make on them translates to monitors (ns10, hr824) really well.

I use them for live venue mixes for large bands and they're perfect

Beyer DT250s the masters at lo-freq reproduction.

I've had my pair for over 5 years, travel with me everywhere...

Did, for some time. Klein and Hummel O300s here ;) Cans are still useful though.

I got the beyerdynamic DT880's a few days ago, The sound is fucking sweet as fuck accross the whole frequency range.They also work well straight from my edirol soundcard.
Im even hearing things in tunes i didnt no was there :o
