Amsterdam 23-10-09 Oi! Invites Dub Police @ ADE Paradiso

On Friday the 23rd of October OI! Will represent the freshest in UK Underground sounds. Hosted in the large room of the Paradiso, for the third time during the Amsterdam Dance Event, Dubstep will reign supreme.
Continuing its triumphant run of more than five years, OI! Is Amsterdam’s longest running Dubstep and Grime night, promoting the genre that just shows no sign of slowing down. With a sell out event hosted in the Paradiso for the 5th anniversary earlier this year - featuring Rusko Live! Dubstep and OI! Show they are firm favourites and return with another guaranteed roadblock - The OI! Dub Attack with the notorious CASPA and his Dub Police label.
Dub Police is well known for their diversity in releases from dance floor bangers to the more musical spectrum of Dubstep, with artists such as The Others, Emalkay, D1, Subscape, Trolley snatcha, Giant, LD, N-Type, and plenty more around the globe pushing the Dubstep sound.
Caspa, the man behind the label grew up in West London on a diet heavy in Jungle and Hip-Hop, starting his own label Storming Productions, going onto Sub Soldiers and Dub Police, which are now globally recognised. Together with industry friend Rusko, in 2007 they were asked to mix the legendary Fabric Live (no: 37) This CD bought Dubstep to the masses, for fans that lay dormant as well as people who had never heard of the genre. With the success of the CD, much hard work, a weekly residency on Rinse FM (every Wednesday 11pm-1am – GMT) and the recruitment of ever growing talent, Dub Police fixed themselves a highly successful bi-monthly night at the prestigious Fabric nightclub-London.
“Everybody’s talking, nobody’s listening” was Caspa’s debut album released earlier this year on Fabric/Subsoldiers imprint. With features that include MC Dynamite, Uncle Sam, Beezy & David Rodigan, there is something for everyone, showing that Caspa is a diverse artist, with way more than dirty dance floor bangers up his sleeve.
So we expect nothing less than the best of the best from Caspa for the OI! Dub Attack and he doesn’t disappoint, with a real Dub Police showcase. DJ’s/producers guaranteed to get you reaching for your bass face include:
L-WIZ, with a live musical showcase, they have had a few hard hitting releases on the DUB POLICE imprint. Emalkay, a guest at our 5th anniversary, his Dub Police imprint release “When I Look at You” is one of the biggest dancefloor tracks of the year. The Others, with plenty of releases on the label, and regulars at the Fabric nights, they are definitely Dub Police ambassadors! Subscape is pure energy with his latest release “Wrong Number” LD Vs D1, LD with his warm rolling underground sounds and D1 with his almost housey feel, this is a great combo, never before seen!
Dub Police’s number one mic man Rod Azlan and Kiss Fm’s finest MC Crazy D will host the night. Revival Old Skool Jungle, Drum and Bass will host the second room, this being the perfect compliment – an echo of bass! Dj’s include Brockie, Uncle Dugs and Red Ant, plus The Ragga Twins and 5ive 0.
What more could the discerning raver ask for??....... Nothing!! Coz it don’t get better than this!!!
