Big up, I've got the Japanese Proficiency Test on December 3rd so I'm studying like a loon, but when that's out of the way I'll be looking to set some things up over here in western Japan. Only been mixing for a couple of months though, might train-wreck the discoteque a few times but still...

Looks like QuietStorm is playin there soon.....lucky sod!
Tokyo is indeed an amazing city...i was totally blown away by the place...the best moment for me was being shown round by a guy, we were in the dead centre of the city and he took us down a street....he said 'This street is called 'crime street'' to which we asked 'why?' He replied 'Someone got mugged here 3 years ago'.......Absolute insanity.
Their 'western t-shirt slogans' are always worth a giggle as well...

Any specific info re: time and place on this one?
Am in tokyo till feb and am sorely missing my sub bass love-ins, am lookin to skank it till i walk street with a dub in my step.
On the real though, anyone from this here community that busses to tokyo between now and Feb has my utmost support.
I will show you around places as if i know where i`m goin, pretend i can read the menus for you, take you drinking with japanese businessmen, introduce you to eating raw horse and most importantly link up with you to range up whatever d`step event occurs at the time.
If any of this appeals to you just shout loud enough and i might just hear you.

You should check Goth Trad's Back to Chill night at Unit mate... it's meant to be well nice and should sort that sub fix

I've heard audio from the first one and it sounded lively.

Hehe, yeah i been lookin forward to it pretty much since the day i arrived in Tokyo (about a week ago). I was living in another part of the country prior to that and was constantly hearing about events going on, all of which were in Tokyo, drove me a bit nuts but am here now.
Currently building up a posse to range it with me, they`re all japanese peeps who`ve never been to a d`step night b4, just heard bit and pieces i`ve played to them, can`t wait to see the looks on their faces.
ROLL ON NEXT THURSDAY!!!

Oh yeah, good info...weeell:
-you could collect your pension in the time it takes for japanese traffic lights to change, don`t wait with all the other androids/people, just cross when there`s no cars about.
-despite knowing the facts of the animal kingdom, it`s still surprising that whale tastes like meat and not fish.
-the japanese diet is not as healthy as the rest of the world thinks it is, do not come to japan thinking you might lose weight.
-japanese children play a `game` where they sneak up from behind and jab their fingers in your ass...this can be potentially avoided by wearing baggy trousers.
