i love dubstep but i don't think it's done what d&b did..
this is in response to people slating d&b in an ignorant fashion

I'm putting d&b and jungle into the same category....when did jungle become d&b?
when omni trio put amens over their hardcore?
do you mean ragga jungle when you say jungle as in nuttah etc?

Jungle and drum n bass are terms used to describe the same music.
It was called hardcore, then jungle and then drum n bass but people still use all those terms.
Jungle is an older term than drum n bass.

yeah i know what i think i was asking what they thought...
i agree although eras are evoked by jungle & d&b
you can get a jungle collection and a drum & bass collection from record shops...
i am nearly 30 so was there

you class photek as jungle?
ni ten ichi ryu is drum & bass surely?
tom & jerry was a 4 hero alias...
i can see how relics could be seen as being junglish but for me photek is a part of the latter era

I see ni ten ichi ryu as jungle, if i think of drum n bass i think of a lot of synths, when i think of jungle i think more stripped down.
Ni ten ichi ryu is one of my all time favourite tracks.

i guess then what i call good drum & bass you would call jungle
you like things like equinox, fanu, alaska, nebula, macc etc from the new stuff?
thats all fitting the criteria...
i do also like some quite synthy stuff like current value, limewax etc
my faves of all time are photek, omni trio, dillinja, source direct...
jungle was technically 160bpm though so stuff after 94 was a bit too fast...

Which is better Tuvan Throat Singing or Dubstep??
You mean you like Dubstep better??
Everyone on
www.tuvanthroatsingingforum.com put Dubstep straight away without me even having to pointlessly go on about how Dubstep was better
Come on surely some of you people prefer the melodious yet mildly sinister overtones of a Tuvan throat singer? ?
It's been going for a lot longer..
