Anyone else a fan? I missed out on it first time round but have now seen series 1-6 on dvd. (No spoilers pls, still not watched series 7 yet
)
Josh Lyman is pretty much my all-time hero.
My flatmate and I watch it with subtitles so we don't miss anything - the dialogue is just unbelievably sharp.
And before anyone slates it for this reason, I don't care how much it idealises its protagonists, it works for me - and in the post 2000 stolen election context I think idealising those at the heart of the American political process, and restoring faith in the idea that beliefs could come before corruption and patronage, was nothing short of heroic.
