Dem Franchize boys are from Atlanta.. I think people usually take that as crunk or southern hiphop if im not mistaken, which is usually dropping down below the 85 to 70bpm sort of area.
Hyphy although similar sounding, is only really from san francisco bay area.. where the hyphy movement started..its their take on crunk I suppose, seems to be a little less serious though, more ecstasy fueled party music..more going up around the 100-110bpm mark I find.
The bpms are a generalisation though, as its definitely more based on where its from rather than speed of the music.
