Just watched this now and I really enjoyed it. It's funny though, Goldie isn't really doing anything he's not done before, as far as I know Goldie has always been the director behind the people who have the skills to translate his ideas to the required medium (in the case of his electronic music his engineers). He is obviously a very creative guy who has ideas and can form whole pieces of art in his head but the challenge is getting it out of his head onto a medium. In the case of his paintings he's developped those skills himself but with the music he needs someone else (who equally has to work out how to understand him).
He seems to have developped good relationships over the years with engineers who can translate his electronic ideas and I'm sure he can do the same in the classical world so long as he finds a way to connect the the people who are putting the sounds down.
I'm quite jelous of his ability because I'm the engineer, I'm the guy who can put the the sounds down and sculped the noises but I'm not an artist, I can't hear or see a piece or even a melody, I have a sound and a try and build it but my melodies are built through trial and error combined with minimal music theory, it's all technical though, never artistic.
I think this program just goes to show that there are a lot of different skills involved in composing music and for one person to master them all would be a mamoth task, I think this kind of shows me that if you can take a small group of people who have each mastered their own skill, if you can develop a way for them to communicate their ideas clearly they could build a far more stunning piece than just one person (except in the odd case of exceptionally talented individuals who have a natural ability to understand all the skills they need).
Sorry for the semi drunken rant, I guess the generally message is I enjoy the program lol

very interested to hear what the outcome sounds like
yeah to be fair to goldie, the music his engineers have helped him make would not have been made without him. i'd love to work with an engineer as my strengths are lacking in the jedi side of production....
cool show
