Woodchuck ate my watermelon and cucumber plants.
Everything else is coming along. I've also planted out dill, cilantro, a variety of hot peppers, rocket, daikon, squash, white pumpkins, and bird house gourds.
Purchased an air rifle for the land beaver.

I've got an aphid problem. I might have to start spraying the shit out of them. They ate the shit out of one of my yet-to-flower-plants while I was at Glastonbury. Fuckers!
Our new housemate brought a tomato plant with her that's looking decidely ropey... I bet they came in on that.

Have you had the problem of digging up the potato and having to use your hand?
You dig and end up with a hand full of septic potato from the original potato you planted.
Blech

Do you get Chickadee's in the UK?
They love aphids for lunch.

No, but there's a family of Great Tits* nesting on our roof... though they're from London, so they probably just eat cigarette butts.
*apparently some birds live there too

For various garden-related reasons, I didn't sow/plant this Spring... is there anything I can do now (herbs?) or when should I start preparing for next year?
Also, finding it hard to find any indoor spots with sunlight in my flat - any tips?
Peace.

Fresh Veggies are the BEST!
I plan to grow plants to eat and smoke, over the next year.
If anyone wants to chat on that tip, HOLLA.

Buy a light and a timer.
You can sow winter rye, which will be a nice amendment to your soil in the spring.
