if anything, i think mods should be working hard to protect the up and coming names in the game--keeping dubstep politics out of the picture for producers and DJs who are just starting to get their feet on the ground--rather than getting mad when their big name DJ friends are viewed negatively. as far as i'm concerned the only person who took it there was you, seckle, and skream doesn't need your help to continue touring the world and making ca$h off of what thousands of people continue to support.
where and who mentioned the "dubstep politics" you speak of? only you...
the moderators aren't "working hard" to allow group A to be trolled, and group B to be promoted. what you're implying is totally ridiculous. there's dozens (and i'll find them if you want) of skream threads on this site, where he's getting slated and also supported. opinions are opinions. everyone has a right to them, but trolling popular dj's and producers (burial, zomby, skream, rusko, caspa, skrillex) is becoming a growing sport on this site as we get bigger, and when there's a pattern of it, the moderators will definitely get involved, as its stupid.
just as we get involved when unknown DJ XYZ has a problem with DJ ABC, or DJ 123 thinks he can flood the site with soundcloud spam. moreover, this idea that skream doesn't need protecting, is also as silly as implying that we should
only be protecting and promoting new talent. we started the dub's forum to do exactly that 4 years ago, so you don't have anything to stand on in regards to that. this whole site is geared towards helping people get exposed, connected and on their own path.
perhaps i should have elaborated a bit more-
when threads making fun of US promoters/dubstep fans pop up because mt eden was billed, not a peep from you.
when threads slate youngsta for being same-y, formulaic and boring pop up, not a peep from you.
however when a thread asking opinions on arguably the most well-known and certainly one of the highest-paid djs comes up, you get involved, perhaps correlated to the fact that you have been chilling with skrenga themselves over the past few days in NYC.
that, to me, is moderator politics.
lol. listen sherlock holmes, you need to consider the fact that not only do i not have 24hrs a day to defend/protect the entire scope of dubstep on DSF in a personal context, but nor would i ever fucking try. the fact that you're bringing this up in a personal way shows your whole deck of cards clearly. show me a thread in regards to whether youngsta or mt. eden are "worth it", and the tree you're barking up is a fair point. otherwise, its really nice that you follow my twitter. thank you for the support.

You really need to read your own posts. I can't actually remember the last thread in which you were happy about something. You're always berating other people about things you don't spent a huge amount of time doing.
Anyway, in more interesting news:

What's with all this thread moving all the time? Gets a bit confusing, start a thread in SNH and it gets moved because it contains stuff about dubstep, have a dubstep discussion thread in general and it gets moved to SNH?!
But more importantly, just looking at toe socks makes me feel a bit ill.
Pringle/diamond socks all day though, got some boss black ones with white diamonds I'm rocking right now.

I was thinking I should just go because it's probably the closest thing to Dubstep I'm going to get in Canada (brostep infested man, it's crazy up here). I just don't want to hear Skrillex being dropped, it's going to kill me if I see Skream do that to me. :/
Yeah I grabbed tickets for the show in Calgary too. Should be half decent I hope, although hearing his interview where he called Skrillex "my boy Skrill" was a bit disheartening to say the least.
Can someone photoshop this to say "My Boy Skrill"?
