anyone know how to edit the bass check at 1:20
bad extatic sound

can some one plz help?
this happens in most of my tracks when i use the wobble bass...
how do you make the bass stop when you want another sound come in like a different pattern of bass like a hook or some thing

this track is starting to do my head in...listen at 1:20 where that edited sound come in i tryed chopping it up ,tryed turn the volume down before the next bar come in but its still not working for..

basicly once i have a bass pattern going when i want to add another bass pattern in the bass in how do i make the 1st bass stop with out the extatic sound...i dont know if this is making any sence..

try listen to my tune from 1:15 to 1:25 but the extatic sound is at 1:20

Hey I stayed up all night working on this bass sound... I'm really struggling to get bass I like, i like this sound but I wonder if i'm just submitting to myself after putting in so many hours..

Maybe you guys can give me some feedback on the bass in this clip

Its not refined at all so theres a crappy intro and a gap between the intro and the main loop

@Gorbek: Bass sound is nice, now you just need to start tweaking it for variations. Filter tweaks and glitch fx would work well with this I think. More varied drum sounds and synth/atmosphere work would go a long way.

@Fiddaman: There's nothing bad about your track, but nothing unique about it either. Pretty standard sounds and ideas. It just follows the conventions of dubstep too closely for what I'm into at the moment, just my .02. Its hard to tell thru youtubes compression, but it sounds fairly clean and punchy, if a little on the quite side. But you need some space and atmosphere in the mix.

@Killall: Really digging the organ and drums. The bass is pretty heavy and scrapes nicely. But the drums and atmosphere really make this track for me. Awesome tune!

I've got a new one up on my virb page called "Culture is Your OS". Its about 70-80% done. Still need to do more bass and synth variations and tweaks to drive it along. I've really been trying to break out of the standard "dubstep" sound. I wish more people were doing stuff at different tempo's so that this would be able to fit into a set...

ABS - nice tune, like it, especially the sound that comes in first time at 48s. if anything, would say the clap needs fattening up, not nes too much louder, maybe some layering or a touch of distortion to thicken the sound. really nice laid back vibe though.

Trypto - again, nice vibe, let down by the snare in my humble opinion. quite like the sound, just doesn't cut it as is. don't get me wrong it sounds ok, but i think it would make the whole thing more powerfull with a weightyer (if thats a word) snare emement. maybe layer with another sound to thicken up the timbre or dirty it up a bit.

both tunes really good though just minor constructice points.
:P
