thanks!
I like this, very interesting. Need to bring the kick out more tho, as has bin said.
why thank you! the wobble bassline, the wobble tone, and the drums are really boring to me so im gonna re-do both.

@Dignan-Melodies are dope man! Those old school jungle drums are nice too, my only bit of crit is that some of your delays are off your grid timing wise a bit and don't seem to match the beats in a few places. You may have done this intentionally. Also, the sub bass portion of the song is kinda non-existent. Some good heavy sine bass sub movement would be delightful and I'm not really registering anything too heavy with my subwoofer here at home. Not really any good breakdowns that catch my attention so it seems a bit repetitive. Imo could benefit from some nice chick vocals too. Good mix down though! Thats all from me, great tune, great vibes, great melodies, nice work, big up.

I got a new, pretty chill and slow song up. Kinda trip hop/chillout influenced. I know its missing something, but I can't figure out for the life of me what! Some help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm aware there's parts that just don't work, but what about the general vibe? Scrap it or what?

really cool song, man, the vibe on this one is dope! here are my suggestions - turn the kick up, i think it should pump more, at some parts it's hard to hear. and definitely turn down that horn sample, it's waaayy too loud, also turn down that delayed snare roll, also a little loud. other than that, the song is sounding sick, it progresses really well, big up!
I just uploaded a new song to my Soundcloud, it's called "Reconstrukt". it's really my first attempt at a "wobble" tune. I'm usually not too fond of tunes with a lot of wobble in them, but this one I'm quite proud of so far. The song isn't finished yet, it's only a two-minute preview, please listen and review, thanks!

yes dignan, thanks for the feedback - its words like those that'll help give birth to the next track. im definately gonna sort that horn sound out cos it is burning a hole in my eardrum.
as for your track - reconstrukt - i really like the jazz-style kit you used. These wobble/bass part is reminiscent of DQ1 (or darkone, whatever) insofar that it'll all dark and wobbley and shit. Big up, once finished im sure it'll be a stomper. Think the wobble could so with some limiter action on (or compression) to realy bring out the low-end badness but im sure you know that cos i listened to your other more DnB tracks and theyre well cool. Especially liking 'Ablue sky kind of happyness'.
Oh, and if im not mistaken, is the sample at the begining of from a Bjork song? Cold is really sweet to. Im liking the way you produce. No of this over-comp'd mega polished shit - you manage to retain an acoustic dynamic when producing but also make everything large too.
keep up the good work man!

alrite mate some good drum work but imo there a bit wet, and the bassy linda sound with resonance on it is a little repetative, needs a few change ups, like the bit where it drops out later and theres some kinda dubby chord thing, thats cool,

yea tune is pretty cool, agree with other feedback about the horn volume, i would maybe drop a few drum changes into the 4x4 section later on too,
ps like the snare

i like this tune man it makes me feel happy

got some old skool garage influences going on man, probably my shit speakers again to be fair but a few more frequencies in the sub wouldnt go amiss IMO

yeah, I sampled "Desired Constellation" by Bjork in my song "Cold"... probably not the most ambiguous sample lol

I know it's not much but spent the last hour mucking about with Massive and created a nasty synth patch, not sure if it's a bit too d n b though... what you reckon? Does it work? The beat is just a loop I dug out, might see what it sounds like with some proper taylor made beats
