that's what this forum is for. A thousand people have asked and answered a thousand versions of that question and it's all been said. WHo the fuck cares.

I didn't vote in this poll, but regardless of the style of music you're targeting, please go for someone who you actually want to learn from. This isn't a fucking reddit AMA
its not to be a fanboy and say how much you loved xyz and "when will this dub get released" etc etc.

Who's got technical prowess, incredible mixdowns, far-out synth patches or complex rhythms, whatever, just as long as it's music writing, production, and/or engineering related
This pretty much covers it. Frankly for me, no brostep producer makes interesting enough music for me to care enough to ask any of these questions. Also I think some people are really missing the 'big names are off the list' posts. Which I think also makes it a little difficult, I feel like if you and anyone else has an idea who these brostep producers are, chances are it's because their one of those big names that is going to be too busy to do a Q&A. If they aren't one of those big names, chances are what they're making is wank and no one would care for a Q&A. I think you're just more limited within that type of dubstep

Yeah why do we need a brostep Q&A anyways? I'd rather just have that energy spent towards someone more worthwhile

I'd be rly interested in a production interview with Pinch

That's exactly what this thread is about. Would some of us be interested in a Q&A by a bro/complextro producer.

My vote is to get Liquid Stranger.

He's getting ready to release a new album, so he might be more inclined for the exposure.

I saw liquid stranger a few months ago, he might as well have opened massive, stuck a performer on modern talking and taped a key down.

''dunno mate. I just sample some old metalheadz reese, grab some pads from my latest game, filter them, and start cutting and pasting drums in sound forge until it resembles a nice fish bone. Sometimes Beyonce works too.''

jokes, I'd like to see that too and I think he's one of the best producers, but it's fairly simple music and that's one of the reasons it's so good. Not sure what kind of info he can give production-wise. You can't really explain how to get that certain feeling his tunes have, it's just being himself imo.

I know what you're talking about but I don't agree totally. In my opinion liquid stranger falls short in the arrangement category. It seems like he just does one brostep wobble after another.
