To be fair Shay Given did have a hamstring injury, question is why was he playing in the first place... And N'Zogbia is quality, although admittedly was shite yesterday. Don't know why he is wasted at left-back, should be in the centre or on the left-wing.

United exposed the Toon constantly on Saturday - all of their goals were good.

I fancy them for the league, the pressure is getting to Arsenal - their captain cried at the end for the love of God (although emotions were high because of Eduardo)

United will keep their cool and win the league.

Meanwhile, the wheels are coming off at my own beloved team (Chelsea). Seems there's a terrible atmosphere amongst the players, no faith in the coachl. I have to say Sunday was a joke - we didn't turn up and the tactics were poor (no Joe Cole!!).

So, for relegation - who do we reckon?

Derby, Fulham, Reading/Sunderland? Don't see NUFC going down - there are other much worse teams.

i think sunderland will stay up on the strength of their home form.

re arsenal, i thought they'd slip up by now, but have been v consistent, although if the goals dry up for Adebayor they may struggle to score until Van Percival returns.

Utd need to stop dropping shitty points agains the lower sides if we want to win it.

I think it'll be us, Fulham and Sunderland. I hope to fuck we beat Sunderland on Saturday.

This is going to be a very tight finish between the top two Arsenal and UTD.

The stats say arsenal has better form having only lost a single game this season against UTD's four. Having said that UTD have had a superb run as of late and are looking very very threatening.

I am very sad for Eduardo. He is an amazing player and he has really helped us as a team. Walcott is starting to show some confidence and personally I think with Van Persie out Wenger should be fielding Walcott first and Bendtner second as Bendtner shows real energy when he comes in as a sub.

Hleb is looking amazing too. Last 3-4 matches he has started to strike and blimey they have been absolute crackers.

As long as Adebayor keeps converting we will be ok. He is probably the best striker in the premiership right now, the depth of his play is amazing. He drifts left and right and moves around often in a support position. Defenders just cant handle him. Against Milan it was unbelievable and their defence has to be the best in the world.

United are only 2 points behind Arsenal and I'd say Arsenal have a trickier run in, including a game at OT to come.

Starting to think Everton will take the fourth spot now too!! They're looking tidy.

Because KK was unable to sort out a decent left back during the transfer window despite having approx £30m to chuck at the problem?

I think if they manage to pull it together enough to avoid the drop then he should be able to rejig the squad over summer and come out with a squad that doesn't have too many holes in it and that suits the style of play that he wants. But coming in half way through the transfer window without a bastard clue of what's going on in terms of players worth looking at, and with a gappy squad left over from Big Sam's ineffective stodge approach and half of whom were away in africa for the couple of weeks when he really wanted to get things off to a positive start did pretty much fuck him.

IMO keeping Allardyce until late in the season and then giving a new manager a chance to put the house in order over summer (assuming Big Sam hadn't actually sorted stuff out himself by then) would have made a lot more sense.

Newcastle are going to get sucked in. I haven't seen a "team" play with such a lack of confidence in ages. At least under Allardyce they could defend a bit better and I thought Keegan's main strength was to motivate players? I havent seen their run in but it doesnt look good either way.

Fancy Hodgson to pull a rabbit from the hat and keep Fulham up. He knows how to get teams to play & with their defence reinforced and the return of Bullard and Mcbride I fancy them to sneak out of it.

My team Reading however look pretty fucked.
