I am certain it's Tes La Rok - Uprise... maybe, I'm sure it's in the film somewhere if not the credits.

Uprise is at the start, not the end.

Pedro Sánchez wrote:Maybe next time another film is documenting the scene, you could put up some cash for them to cover their time and resources needed in making a doc just the way you want, maybe you could even get on the blower to a few of the early heads and work out a proposed script for filming at a set location of your choice.
your sarcasm. not mine. i sincerely wish you a lovely day.

disposition, but the film version is the old instrumental dubplate version of it, before the new jest vocal version. when vex'd put out their latest album they gave away the new version on xlr8r for promo

this idea that filmmakers must cover every inch of a global sound is ubsurd! no one film can capture a whole community within a genre of music. there's about 50 movies on reggae, and they're all examining different aspects of it, but there's not one that captures all of it. it's impossible, and more importantly people can sit and point fingers at film producers, but most people have no idea how many hours of footage and grind it takes to make a 30min film.
this.

also if there was one documentary that covered absolutely everything it would probably take a whole day just too watch because it would be so long lol. not to mention it would cost a fortune.

i watched this the other day, And i dont mean to be a hater, but honestly, with the subject at hand, its history and roots, access to producers, stations and scene peeps, it comes across as a bit longwinded and dare i say boring. Literally following guys thru streets talking bollocks and buying booze isnt the best tactic to hold my attention.
A bit harsh maybe, but I just feel that this dude missed a prime opportunity to lay down the definitive story of Dubstep and Bass Music.

just watched this. really enjoyed it.

couple questions for the headz...

1) what is the grimey garage tune playing in the background at the 7:00 minute mark, upstairs at Big Apple?

2) what is the name of the tune he's playing at the club that deapoh goes into where the first dj you see is Kromestar?

Hey guys, for anyone who's got the documentary handy, could you tell me the name of the track at 45:30? It's playing in the background as the radio presenters are talking. I've wanted to know what it is for so fucking long. I keep hearing it.. Flying Lotus plays it all the time too. Might even be one of his joints but I don't think so.
Cheers
