you need a list of everyone who'd be involved and what they'd be doin, all up on the forum for everyone to see.once everyones involved who wants to be you can get some grants from the princes trust etc to get it started. you could have a donations thing but askin everyone for money might be a bit upfront. if any of us are djs we could sell a few dubstep label mix cds to spread the word and make some dough towards putting out some vinyl. there is gonna be a shed load of money made out of this scene so it would be good to see the man in the street make a couple of quid.

if everyone else agrees i'll use a contact for the grants available..... i need to know what we are actually doing and fully understand how its all gonna work before i approach the guy tho. someone might have to go on a 1 week buisness coarse to get the money. getting grants for a buisness/label is complicated. loads of fuckery involved but worth it like>>>

elgato wrote:what about CEDE's suggestion...

get the mastering done, then run two presses, one in UK, one in US, half and half

Any reason why would that wouldn't work? More expensive presumably but not by too much surely?
i didn't even see that he suggested that - if its possible its more or less what i was trying to suggest up there ^^ and i give it a big huge :script:
Glad I found this haha

I was just going to ask if anyone had run the numbers on shipping/duty etc vs 2 smaller runs uk/us.
