Its known that Rusko used to make cut-n-paste hiphop...If it is true, it might not be anything like his dubstep stuff.

not sure if a derogratory term towards sampling or not.
god save your soul if so.

Hmm, considering 80% of my tunes are made from sampling and being a avid crate digger; I doubt it.

In other words I don't think you'll ever hear Rusko nor Caspa ever start trying to achieve the level of filth that Skrillex, Datsik, Excision, or even Adroa, Ajapai, or Mark Instinct produces, just like you'll never hear RunDMC trying to rhyme as sharp as Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, or Aesop Rock...
Also feel the same about Mala and Coki...
idk bout that last part bout dmz mate
Why? You don't like DMZ?
I like Dmz more than anyone on this forum I was thinking he saying something else really
Rusko & Caspa are great. DMZ is even greater!I was only saying they are pioneers of dubstep who will stick to their guns. I was listening to them all back in 07.
I remember I used to let "rappers" hear what I was listening to in my headphones while I was @ work and they thought they were weird hip hop instrumentals asking me if I can burn them a copy.
I would just give them that look like... Dude, I would never let you ruin a DMZ track...

Rusko is still top five in my book!! listened to him for a couple years then went and saw him at a venue and he threw it the fuck DOWN!!! haha I love how hes not gone mainstream like nero and flux pavilliion (theyre good artists even tho i dont like their style). He keeps it old school
I thin people are getting turned off by him because everyone is startin to like "electro-step" like nero, flux pavillion, skrillex, etc. no one likes old skool REAL dubstep anymore (like with the garage feeling in it)

Hands down, Rusko is my favorite producer. He's my main inspiration for getting into dubstep and the guy just does his thing and parties. I respect that.

Rusko has excellent production skills, but his live performance is a little weak. But he does have his moments to shine. Definitely one of my favorite artists.

Think you got that the wrong way round. I think as producer he is over rated but in the past (back in 08) I had one of the sickest nights with him playing in room 3 Fabric London. The reason his live performances are a little weak now, is because he is usually so fucked up he can barely remember his own name when he plays out.
I used to like old Rusko but got nothing but respect for him, he reached somewhere near the pinnacle of the dubstep world now he is enjoying his life and doing things you and me would never get chance to do. Big up yourself Mr Rusko.

I love how he uses the same kick drum over and over.
Bah, i love a lot of his tunes, but most of the newer stuff doesn't cut it for me.
