Wouldn't care if it was flipping burgers to be honest; I just want to get back into work properly so I don't spent 90% of my life bored on DSF and reddit.. Getting paid is just an upside haha!
Seems a nice job though, just making sure engineers are assigned to cilents and get there on time, ordering parts (its for a IT firm what looks after companies computer set ups/networks) and sweet talking customers if things go tits up.

Speaking with my manager/hiring hat on, experience doesn't count for shit if the person with it is a tosser.

Start of June and it's pissing down outside, typical! Never fails to put me in a bad mood, especially when I'm in the office trying to catch up on a huge amount of work. Can't wait to get home, light one, and get some new tunes on the go. Really haven't done anything in months. Lost the motivation since my laptop died, then my external HDD with all my backup's etc died too.
Feel sorry for all you poor souls trapped in the office, bad times!

I'm getting mood swings as a result of the low carb diet I've switched to. Not good.

Are you carb cycling?
I prefer to cycle carb #s based on my training schedule, that really helps with mood/energy and you still average the same # of carbs

Damn, it's been a while. Anyway, updates...since moving to Madrid I've had a change in diet, proper meditarriean with fish/veg/olive oil leading the charge. Got more energy and am walking more often as a result of getting rid of my car before I left the UK
Anyway, Friday updates how we all doing today? I've got a skeleton team of 3 today instead of my usual 8 which means I'm actually having to do work in between ranting on here

Exact opposite here, all our systems are down at the moment so we've got plenty of time to slack around (actually not but no one notices)
Looking out to be a great weekend so far

I've been working in Distribution Services for a Contracting Firm for a little over a year now. Does any one else have a job that involves the same repetitive work routine as I do? If so is there a time threshold you cross before you can actually get used to it?

Happy Friday!!
Come September my department is being outsourced to someone other third party company, training to get into the IT field before this happens, but if that doesn't work would anyone here know the usual outcomes of being outsourced?
