I know this thread is beyond a joke already, but I have to wonder do you 'Drumsteppers' separate the 2-step, half-step and other rhythmically arranged dubstep tunes? The step bit doesn't just mean it's half step all the time.

Hence why it is a fucking sub genre you fucking tool! There aren't enough releases to warrant a new genre on a music purchasing site.
ps. I never said I particularly liked this release, but was just an example of something that follows what some of us are calling Drumstep.

Are you sure you're listening to the right mix? The entire mix is of tunes with 1 snare per bar instead of 2. I would therefore say it's half-tempo. Might have some fast hi-hats, but the essence is the same.
yeah; def the same mix. the point im talking about is around 27:30.. to me anything with amen in it ≠ halftime. even if there's not snares programmed in there they're still in the break and read as snares to me. but really 27.5 minutes of me liking anything that anyone considers dnb is quite an accomplishment so hey
