The way you conrtol this is the the ASDR envelopes in the "sampler" window of whatever sample you are using at the time.

1. the easiest one to use (and get your head around) is the volume envelope so click on that one.
2. the evelope is not active until the orange button to the left of the "time" is on. It will turn on automatically if you alter the graph or any of the knobs underneath.
3. to have the sample stop playing right away, you need to have decay, sustain and release all at zero.
4. now as soon as the note is not being triggered the sound will stop immeadiately!
5. tada!

My problem is in the top right corner of that image. It started happening yesterday and I'm yet to figure out what could be making it run at 128mb of ram used, when that screenshot was taken with nothing open in the DAW. Absolute nightmare as its making all my previous tracks I had no problems with click and pop.

I've used Avira, Malwarebytes Anti and I have no viruses or trojans.

Its only just started though. Thursday daytime, I had no problems. Come to fire it up yesterday morning after a smoke, and bang its using that much ram. I haven't installed anything new. I've tried deleting a ton of programs I don't use. Non of my programs are set to start when windows does besides my AV software and the cpu/ram footprint for that is MINIMAL.

WTF is going on? :u:

Not that i know what is the cause, but its not going to be due to any other programs, so deleting random stuff or making more space isn't going to help...

the most obvious question is are you running a pirated version? cause if so then perhaps the crack is causing some code to execute wrongly.

Noob question.... why are certain channels on mymixer pretty much unchangeable? I change the volume on one, and the second I touch "play" it returns to where it was. it may be cause there was an automation clip on that channel, but I deleted it both in the playlist and sequencer. This is really fucking frusterating.

edit: hrm... at least now I know how to lock them in different positions when the track starts. problem pretty much solved, just wouldn't mind figuring out how that happened in the first place.

You can automate stuff directly in patterns. When you find the offending automation, double click it ^ select all and delete tha bitch.

OK so i am having am issue with the multi link feature so i can get the multi links to continuously work for everything i want to control but for me to be able to make my own automation's i have to have the fruity free filter selected none of the other effect need to be selected to be used
here is whats going on
i have set up my midi to control the frequency of the fruity free filter and on the same channel my delay midi to control the wet dry now the wet dry works all the time selected or not but the fruity free filter has to be selected to be able to twist the knob and have it do anything
any help would be great

You can automate the volume of seperate channels or mixer tracks however you want. I don't think you can automate the volume of just one playlist track.

so i was working on re-sampling bass lines the other day and went through and copy and pasted the %'s for steps 1/2-1-2-3-4-8-16-32-64-128 of the speed of the lfo on the fruity peak controller
1/2 step 10%
1 step 15%
2 steps 23%
3 steps 28%
4 steps 31%
8 steps 41%
16 steps50%
32steps 60%
64steps 70%
128steps80%
with this set of %'s you can link the peek controller to perfect wobbles with the fruity free filter do your automation on off notes when no sound is being played for rate changes without weird jumps

Wouldn't it be easier to use fruity love philter?
