yeah when i was getting into dubstep they were just tunes but when i started growing up a bit musically you realise how epic they really are, and in fact what the whole of dubstep did and what some people are still doing!
massive props!

DMZ006 is probably one of the best dubstep releases period.

Seeing as the logic for your points are both epic fails, likely not.

You clearly don't know how it works around here, you have an opinion that differs slighty from what most other people think. That makes you a hater and/or elitist.
From now on just make sure you never EVER post an opinion, they don't like that on this board.

he sells dubplates at blackmarket.

ok so I'm outnumbered. it's just my opinion I wouldn't worry about it...
also... OK STOP, just stop you lot yeah? not being funny, or horrible but I wasn't expecting to be called an "elitist", I've just come back from a hard shift at work I really don't need this.

Actually, you're not an elitist and you're more than welcome to the opinion, it's what keeps things fresh.
Let's look at the points you're trying to make.
"and one of the best things about dubstep is there is no formula"
and
"not too much midrange bass frequencies"
Context is everything. Part of the beauty of this sound was that for a lot of people, there was no formula. You knew a DMZ tune from a Hatcha tune from a Vex'd tune because they were so distinctive.
By stating that, you appear to be making it like it's a bad thing.
"dj Youngsta sounds a little arrogant saying "blatantly the biggest tune in the scene" "
Two things:
One) Yunx has done more this music than most people, he's allowed to make statements like that because he can back em' up. It's not like he was referringto his own joint.
Two) He's referring to Midnight Request Line which was at the time, the biggest tune in the scene and remains definitive and groundbreaking for pushing dubstep to the point it's at today. MRL was The crossover tune.
Have an opinion, just back up your shit.

ok points taken. I have nothing else to say really heh, I guess my opions were fucked!!
well Im glad I brought up attention of that doc' though I guess not many people had seen it even though it's the 3rd video that shows up after you type in dubstep to YT.
well actually listening to what you just said I'll take back what I said on youngsta. and the other 2 things. that's not me trying to keep the peace that's actually me seeing where i've gone wrong.

I wasn't actually calling you an elitist, I was actually standing up for you in a backhanded, sarcastic way. I think its completely fucked that if anyone posts an opinion everyone tears into them for it, its the worst thing about this forum.

I think you lose the right to refer to the forum as "they" when you have 743 posts...

i remember the halcyon age. I used to wear a lovely sweater that Giles Brandreth would be ashamed of, copy of the paper folded under one arm and we'd sit and talk about wattling model boats from balsa wood. I remember once when Pokes wheeled up Mala's plate and said, "They're doing two for one on those spiked sandals that airate your lawn! Plus 20% off everything in the Lakeland catalogue!".
Heady days.

youngsta was one of the first people pushing this music in london, when no one knew wtf it was. he's helped dozens of producers and labels move their 12's. show some respect.
