sample the classic breaks

It's definitley a hi-hat struck closed, opened then closed again (as other peeps have said). If you can't find a sample you might get the same sound by cutting a tiny closed hi-hat hit so it had basically no decay, duplicating it and between the two putting the middle bit of an open hi-hat sample with a low pass filter doing a quick sweep up. Would be some crazy micro editing though!

just sample it, that's what I did
