I reckon the problem is because the record's warped, but like I said it was only very slight so I was interested to see if anyone else had similar issues. I've already contacted chemical to get a replacement.

I didn't mean to apportion blame or badmouth the label - black box and box clevers seem to be pretty much all I'm buying at the minute

I can take the thread down (I think?) if you'd really rather it wasn't here.

good point on the cueing, probably essential to DJ'ing and thus electronic music which partly makes my remark redundant. I'm more of a recreational listener these days. I'm also a collector, not so much of dubstep, but various instrumental genre's and that's why 180 gram vinyl has always been an extra motivator for me to buy vinyl. But from a DJ point of view, I do stand corrected!

personally cant stand these 180 'heavy vinyl', much prefer a nice flimsy one

and as thinking said it doesnt affect sound quality - take 768 (kryptic minds) - nice flexible vinyl, nice to que and still any amounts of low end in there

I'm wondering if all the people having issues got it from the same place?

I mean I've had no problem and others have had no problems from some other places.

Could be you've all bought from one large and popular website and a load of their copies got damaged?

It wasn't a dig at the label particularly, I just think most of the time you pay for stuff and it's no where near the quality it should be for the money you pay.

I didn't even buy the vinyl, I bought the digital.

Morale of that story is not to let the French handle manufacturing
