Yeah I know of that one, thanks anyway. But i'm not trying to achieve his drums, would be more interested in more general questions, not so much how he makes certain soundswub wrote:20 page Grid thread on his drums might interest - http://www.dogsonacid.com/showthread.php?t=563834Project EX wrote:Current Value, but thats not going to happen anyway
If you haven't seen it already, I'd recommend you take a look at the Red Bull Music Academy Video of him. He answers a heap of questions there already, lots of other producers of interest in their index aswell!serox wrote:Mala - Because he is one of the best producers in this scene. I would love to find out his work flow and how he goes about doing things. I dont think he spends long on making bass patches but more about melodies. His tracks are very musical and he appears to make them very fast.
Darqwan - I would love to know how he goes about making his drums and his processing. His sample usage is really amazing to me.
Would be cool to know how they start a track, what are they thinking before they start also. Do they know what the track will be like before they have started or do they make a groove and go from there etc. I could spend hours picking the brains tbh.
yes i would also LOVE a scuba Q&Ahutyluty wrote:This this this - I think he could give some really good information on sampling tips/ percussionvertx wrote:Scuba as I think he drops in once every while...
Im sorry, but I'm actually with you on thisFilthzilla wrote:I'm sorry.. but I'd actually really like Skrillex to do a Q&A. It would be intresting to see how he responds to a full-on DSF interrogation.
I hate him, but I agree in the sense that it would be interesting. Doubt he would do it tho, would recieve so much hateblinkesko wrote:Im sorry, but I'm actually with you on thisFilthzilla wrote:I'm sorry.. but I'd actually really like Skrillex to do a Q&A.
